  • Provide Support and knowledge transfer to the Helpdesk where appropriate
  • Focus on Global solutions which support the long term goals of Enterprise Architecture Team supporting Business Process Optimization and business initiatives
  • Provide advice and input to Divestiture discussions to ensure resultant system solutions are pragmatic and correct.
  • Provides documentation to the Quality standards in a timely manner
  • Consider integration points in all solutions to maximise existing solutions and maintain integrity of data
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert insight and input to solution design and to the Support/Helpdesk
  • Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and lean specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports
  • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify business processes and computer systems
  • Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
  • Study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop new systems to improve production or workflow as required
  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system
  • Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs
  • Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development
  • Upgrade system and correct errors to maintain system after implementation
  • Prepare time and cost estimate for completing projects
  • Direct and coordinate work of others to develop, test, install, and modify programs
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach, able to work independently and able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Works on diverse range of support issues requiring ability to independently identify, evaluate and resolve problems
  • Works proactively and uses own initiative to ensure business needs are met effectively
  • Ensures all solutions adhere to applicable change control requirements
  • Addresses immediate service needs of all end users regardless of Business Unit affiliation
  • Good time management skills, with proven ability to prioritise and organise a demanding workload, adapting to fit the changing needs of the business.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), able to relate with users, service providers, management and internal / external audit teams
  • Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies
  • Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of client per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behaviour with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices
  • Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
  • Significant related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience managing computer business systems and applications
  • Significant manufacturing and R&D experience with knowledge of Computer System Validation
  • Organizational skills to make sure the team are achieving high levels of service
  • Able to learn new processes quickly, and an ability to keep knowledge and skills up to date

  • SOX compliance knowledge
  • ITIL framework knowledge and related certifications
  • Experience of improving efficiency and processes within a support environment
