POSITION SUMMARY:
This position requires a positive attitude, business, marketing and technical understanding of marketing tools, and project management skills to create, deliver, and optimize digital and other marketing solutions on various channels. Position manages the flow of information and communications, and disseminates according to plan and strategy. Performs a variety of specialized tasks related to digital and other marketing objectives.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Participates as a member of the Diagnostics Information Solutions (Client) Communications Team
  • Collaborates with Client Team to collect and assimilate information on new product launches, press releases, newsletters, and other relevant communications
  • Collaborating on the creation, development, and execution of marketing communciation materials (electronic and print) on-time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives
  • Assists in roll-out of marketing programs to global affiliates
  • Follows content review and approval processes
  • Maintains and provides intra and internet content for the Lifecycle Team
  • Helps manage vendors to deliver quality products and tracks costs to a defined budget
  • Ensures vendors are compliant with all processes and procedures including legal, procurement and finance
  • Manages creation of affiliate-facing newsletters; technical contact for email creation and deployment
  • Provides assistance with roll-out of marketing programs
  • Manages workload and projects with management coaching
  • May perform other duties and special projects as assigned
 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Adobe Creative Suite, and email automation tools/services
  • Experienced in planning and executing on social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to learn and follow processes and procedures necessary to develop, route and release controlled marketing collateral within a highly regulated industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build quality relationships
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and highly matrixed environments
  • Ability to follow branding to ensure that marketing deliverables meet divisional and corporate brand standards and aligns with global brand objectives
 
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Two years minimum, three years preferred, of successful, increasing responsibility in corporate marketing, promotional marketing communications, administrative and/or related business experience
  • At least one year of relevant experience in diagnostics, medical device or healthcare related industry strongly preferred
 
 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Up to 10% within the San Francisco Bay area
