Job summary:
Contract to Hire- Can sit in Orlando, FL, Little Rock, AR, or Jacksonville, FL. Will need to sit onsite at the corresponding FIS facility, this is NOT a remote position.
Shift: M-F, First Shift. Will require flexibility as some shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM CST. There is potential for OT (no more than 5-10 hours a week). There is also potential for some weekend work, Sunday evening, but advanced notice will be given by management if this is required.
The Sitecore Administrator will work closely with .NET Technology Lead, and be part of the team of engineers and administrators that ensure the stability, availability and utility of SiteCore platform. The SiteCore Administrator will be responsible for hands-on tasks like reviewing log files, making system changes, receiving/resolving tickets and executing SiteCore package deployments.
Job Responsibilities, Duties:
  • Responsible for ensuring system availability (uptime) and performance of the SiteCore platform
  • Responsible for incident and problem (tickets) management for SiteCore by ensuring incidents and problems from all business units are resolved quickly, completely and to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Ensure complete and accurate backups of the SiteCore environments happen on a regular schedule
  • C#, Automation, .NET, Management, SQL Server, Windows Server Platforms, ASP.NET, JavaScript, ASP, TFS, TDS, Sitecore Rocks, Fortify, Powershell, Networking, Load Balancing, Firewall, Mongo Database, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, Angular, Bootstrap, NodeJS, SOA/REST/WebAPI Service Implementations.
Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in C#/.Net with 2+ years of hands-on experience in using Sitecore.
  • Experience with Azure, such as Web and Worker roles and Azure service bus.
  • Collaborate with client's business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and convert them into architecture and low-level design.
  • Must have completed at least 2 Sitecore enterprise implementations in the capacity of Architect/Lead.
  • Should have experience in integrating external systems with CMS.
  • Experience in Sitecore and .Net with MVC framework.
  • Document the overall system physical, logical and technical architecture and describe its various components, features, and functionality in sufficient detail for the development team to move forward with implementations
  • Architect large-scale Sitecore solutions, including logical and physical design of system components such as database, server architecture and communications frameworks to support Sitecore implementations
  • Deep knowledge of Sitecore Architecture and Design, Common API Classes and Security Model.
  • Good working knowledge in enterprise search, Analytics and Personalization.
  • Experience in designing multichannel distribution & social channels.
  • Experience in working with .Net framework, HTML, Javascript, CSS and familiarity with best practices
  • Application performance tuning and optimization
  • Understanding application security vulnerabilities
  • Web tagging and analytics, SEO concepts.
  • Strong relational database experience including database design/ normalization preferably on MSSQL/ MySQL/Oracle
  • Experience in Sitecore upgrade from earlier version to new Sitecore experience platform is desirable
  • Should be well versed with architectural designs patterns, envision NFRs and implement it.
  • Should be able to evaluate current state of architecture, platform and provide architectural recommendations to improve maintainability, performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Ability to do fitment analysis of CMS tool for the given high level requirements of business.
  • Experience in Agile, iterative and waterfall development model is desirable
Graduate degree with 7+ years' experience in Information Science/Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics.
General duties & responsibilities:
  • Responsible for deploying the release of new technologies as well as the design, installation, configuration, maintenance and system integration testing performance of PC/server operating systems, related utilities and hardware.
  • Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.
  • Controls user access and passwords.
  • Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
  • Monitors usage and performance.
  • Trains personnel on system usage.
  • Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.
  • Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs.
  • Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
  • Supports Web access and electronic messaging services, and maintains a secure systems environment.
  • Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
