Requirement:
  • The Treasury Technical Lead will supply technical leadership, best practices and trouble-shooting guidance to the Treasury IT team.
  • The systems supported are a mix of custom developed and off the shelf applications covering a wide variety of technologies including: Unix, Windows, WebLogic, IIS, Oracle, SQLServer, J2EE, CORBA, .Net, PHP, Perl and Python.
  • The successful candidate will have a wide variety of hands-on technical experience, and be conversant with enterprise IT practices including business continuity, software development and systems maintenance.
  • The Treasury IT team supports all the systems responsible for TFS’s funding activities and cash management.
  • Reliability, security and speed of delivery are critical in this area, and the Treasury technical lead will use their knowledge and expertise to ensure these three goals are met.
  • This resource will be responsible for diagnosing and debugging production support issues and tasks (i.e., systems go down, a new user does not have access, enhancements to applications, setting up batch jobs, etc).
  • This resource must be able to provide guidance and direction to the outsourced production support vendor on any issues as well.

  • This resource must have the ability to take ownership of multiple projects/tasks.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize tasks successfully.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to the customer (Treasury IT team) and be very customer interfacing.
 
Requirements:
  • The primary duties of the Treasury Technical Lead fall into three categories:
  • Technical leadership, best practices and trouble-shooting guidance to the Treasury IT team
  • Collaboration with shared service teams, e.g. DBA, system admin, etc.
  • Light development work such as the development or modification of inter-system data interfaces.
 
Mandatory skills:
  • Strong Unix experience
  • Oracle and SQL Server experience
  • Python
  • Java and Perl experience
  • J2EE Application server experience
  • .Net/IIS experience (one system is .Net – this person does not need to be a guru with .Net, just some previous experience supporting a .Net system)
  • Proven record of taking ownership of tasks
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Conversant with standard technical architectures, e.g. networking, servers, etc.
  • Strong systems analysis experience
  • Strong SDLC knowledge
