Job Description: SUMMARY:
Performs supplemental technical and administrative functions for the Metrology/Lab Instrument Services group of Global Operations. Scope of responsibility is clerical in function, to include electronic file transfer, scanning, sorting, filing, routing and archiving electronic and paper documents. Position includes a short term project to transfer electronic GMP files from SharePoint to Gnosis and to compare and verify accurate transfer. Position is part of a regulated pharmaceutical environment (GMP).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Electronic file transfer
• Verification of electronic file transfer
• Sorting, organization and filing of electronic and paper files
• Scanning paper files to electronic media
• Archiving paper files to GMP storage location or assembling for destruction, as designated by Manager
• Electronic routing of vendor procedures and training records
Documents are primarily GMP (regulated by Good Manufacturing Practices).


ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Daily interaction with Manager and Planner/Scheduler. Weekly interaction with Metrologist and Global Operations contract colleagues (Metrologist and/or Maintenance Personnel). Monthly interaction with Quality Personnel.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Proficiency in documentation management. Understanding database navigation and data management. Proficiency with MS Office. EAMS and Gnosis (Documentum) experience preferred. Attention to detail and experience working in a quality GMP or regulated environment is preferred.

• Should be proficient in all MS Office applications. Other tasks include typing 35 wpm, sorting, filing, and scanning.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Some college or equivalent technical training. 1-3 years clerical experience including proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software (to include documentation management, data management, database structure and navigation, Adobe).
