Assistant marketing coordinator/ Kansas City, MO/ 6 months
  • The Assistant Marketing Coordinator will interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing, deadline driven environment; remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • In this role, the Assistant Marketing Coordinator will assist all marketing and communications efforts, including the creation of proposals, presentations, and internal and external communications.
  • In addition, the Assistant Marketing Coordinator will support the quality review process for studies and reports.
  • Assists in the preparation of information and materials for submittals, presentations and proposals. Compiles photographic, proposal, and firm credential files.
  • Assists in the development of brochure materials and preparation for team presentations.
  • Assists with implementation of brand guidelines into all marketing projects.
  • Attends and supports marketing project meetings, bringing necessary documents and providing comprehensive recap and next steps to the internal team.
  • Compiles client status reports and marketing calendars.
  • Assists in tracking expectations on timing and budget, and notifies supervisor of relevant fluctuations. Maintains contact with the internal clients to verify projects are completed correctly and actively seeks feedback.
  • Assists in the coordination of marketing functions or special events.
  • Participates in marketing training sessions to improve marketing, communications, digital and content marketing knowledge.
  • Format Microsoft Word letters, studies, and reports (including multi-chapter, large reports) to fix formatting issues and adhere to company standards.
  • Assist report authors in the preparation of photograph sheets, lists of acronyms, and lists of references. Develop templates, update reference documents, and provide general support for the quality review process, as needed. All other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related degree is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, technical writing and creative writing as well as proofreading and editing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail Ability to learn multiple writing styles and templates, and be comfortable switching among them
