Job Description: SUMMARY:
We are seeking an energetic and motivated research associate with experience in in vivo pharmacology to join our Rinat Research Unit in South San Francisco and to contribute to exciting antibody-based and T cell-based research. The successful applicant will be an integral part of a research team evaluating antibody therapies and T cell therapies for the treatment of cancer. They should express a keen interest in developing Client therapies and have a demonstrated record of conducting in vivo research.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to discovery projects for antibody therapeutics and CAR T cell therapeutics by conducting in vivo efficacy studies utilizing human cancer xenograft models.
• Modify or establish assays/models to support antibody-based and T cell-based pre-clinical studies and pipeline development.
• Analyze, organize, and present results in group meetings.
• Contribute to a dynamic, exciting culture that embraces teamwork and innovation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Tumor inoculation and measurement, animal dosing (oral, s.c., i.p. and i.v.), blood and tissue collection, is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in the fields of immunology and/or cancer biology is a plus
- Experience in immunological assays, including flow cytometry, cytokine release, cytotoxicity and proliferation assays, T cell isolation, MACS, is a plus
- Must have excellent organization and planning skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team, good verbal and written communication, and strong motivation with a dedicated work ethic.
- A willingness to learn and adopt new experimental skills as needed is essential.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
B.S. degree with 2 years of in vivo experience
