Job Description: 
Absolute requirement / experience needed:
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in application development; Minimum of 5 years experience as a senior application designer.

  • Hands on experience in the following: Java/J2EE, SQL, SQL PL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, JSP, Servlets, AJAX, REST, JAXB, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, MDBs, Java design patterns, Spring
  • Hands on experience in developing web applications, web services, Java enterprise applications, and messaging applications
  • Hands on experience in developing and debugging using Eclipse based IDEs
  • Knowledge of API, SOA and RESTful Web Services concepts
  • Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, CA Scheduler, AutoSys a plus
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing concepts and IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
Position Summary:
Responsible for the function design of business systems; technical design of application solution; integration of business services & information security; drives industry-specific best practices & standards; understanding regulatory compliance needs; coordinating industry test planning & execution; providing leadership to AD teams and acts as technology liaison to businesses and the industry.

Principal Responsibilities:
TheAD Domain Architect applies a broad business understanding and technical knowledge to create and improve critical systems. The DFA will participate from the very early stages of an initiative, working with business development and the industry, to analyze the overall business problem and objectives and to develop strategies to meet those objectives. This involves conducting interviews and workshops to make well informed solution and improvement recommendations. This Director level position provides leadership and guidance to teams and management through all phases of projects, including post-deployment support for adoption by users. This means facilitating the development of, and analyzing business processes, participating in application design, supporting development teams, testing and service introduction to clients. The DFA must possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex business processes into easy to understand language. This position requires working closely with the technical and governance functions, reviewing and interpreting technical designs and specifications, assisting with budget planning and estimation, estimating project costs and producing schedules.

Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years experience in IT (5+ years of Technical Implementation as well as Business Analyst experience)

– Designs new processes by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams

Education, Training &/or Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
