The Manager of IT Infrastructure position is responsible for all information technology infrastructure and shared services, including all data center and disaster recovery sites, physical and virtual servers, storage and backup infrastructure, desktop hardware, server and desktop operating systems, SQL databases, Email systems. The Manager of IT Infrastructure will interface directly with internal and external customers; system architecture, engineering, service management and operations teams as well as provide top level support as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Successful candidates must be able to work well with other team members in a collaborative fashion, fostering learning and knowledge sharing to complete customer projects and equally be able to work solo with limited supervision and project oversight
  • Responsible for leading and overseeing those involved in the development, design, implementation, test, and maintenance of business and technology needs
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of long term strategic solutions.
  • Supervise data center group and lead, direct and utilize knowledge on best practices in area related to infrastructure
  • Report and prepare strategies to maintain server infrastructure
  • Design and execute short plus long term strategic plans to assure infrastructure capacity attains current and future needs

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years managing a team of engineering staff; 8-10 years progressive experience with network or systems engineering
  • Enterprise Infrastructure Design and Implementation experience required
  • Develop, execute and oversee procedures, policies and related training plans for project management and infrastructure administration
  • Effective leader with a strong work ethic and desire to educate and develop talent within the team
  • Installation, troubleshooting, project management, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks including critical care and on call duties
  • Familiarity with a variety of field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Requires the ability to work effectively across interdepartmental lines, strong verbal, written communications skills, ability to resolve conflict and effective interpersonal skills
