Position Summary
  • Three main areas of responsibility: Acquisition Sales, Account Management and execution of Market Strategy. Support Clients strategy for supply growth, availability and market share within assigned territory. In addition, this candidate will be a specialist in the clients Brand and Product to the host community of professional hosts.
  • Identify and acquire Vacation Rental Management Companies and other hospitality professionals onto the client platform.
  • Support clients professional host strategy by increasing availability and supply within assigned territory.
  • Responsible for area coverage; Travel within assigned area to meet with potential & current clients
  • Promote the client brand and its online platform services to the professional host community.
  • Education and consultation on proven methods of conversion through market metrics and industry trends.
  • Provide ongoing training on utilization of client platform.
  • Monitor market metrics and industry data; capitalizing on market changes and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Market Coordinator team to provide scaled account management support.
  • Build and maintain relationships to promote growth and platform opportunities.

  • Understanding of the Hawaii Lodging industry. Previous work in travel, hospitality, or property management helpful.
  • At least 2-5 years professional experience in sales or account management function in a quota environment.
  • Proven analytical abilities to identify impactful opportunities and areas of development; Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach.
  • Experience/affinity working cross-functionally with product and marketing teams within e-travel and or the Vacation Rental industry in Hawaii.
  • Ability to Travel up to 30% - 40% of time; Neighbor Island travel mostly, some mainland travel.
  • Can represent the client Hawaii tone and brand in public-facing communications.
  • Ability to work from home; must be able to work independently and have a proven track record as a self-starter who can execute in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong communication and client servicing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing startup environment.
