Job Description:

The Contract Digital Marketing Project Manager will take the lead for development and implementation of cross-product solutions that meet marketing operations requirements. This role is needed to manage complex work-streams, multiple internal functions, multiple executive stakeholders, and short term and long term objectives, all while ensuring that one or more projects are delivered on-time.

Throughout each phase of the project(s), your primary responsibilities will be to:
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and sponsors in establishing the overall commitments, scope and specific requirements for the project.
  • Define roadmap and key milestones for each phase of the project.
  • Lead communication routines and facilitate communication among stakeholders, sponsors, external partner agencies and day-to-day delivery teams.
  • Define resources needed for successful completion of the project. Set and track project resource allocations. Work with stakeholders to resolve any allocations issues (as needed).
  • Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during execution and implementation of the project.
  • Utilize Agile development methodology – adapt as needed based on composition of the teams.
  • Lead Sprint Planning, tracking of work completed in each sprint and adjustments to sprints on a rolling basis.

Qualifications will include:
  • Minimum of 5-years’ experience managing technical development projects.
  • Expertise in information technology concepts and Agile methodology for development projects.
  • Track record of effectively partnering/collaborating with diverse teams and delivery organizations to meet project goals.
  • Ability to ensure that business owner requirements are met in the technical implementation.
  • Ability to facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong personal initiative and an ability to motivate self and others, as well as a strong customer service orientation

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in management of information systems or related field preferred.
Project Management Certifications for technical development

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (Manager's Must-Haves):
  • Needs someone local to Boston
  • Needs someone who can build a schedule and keep meetings along with keeping everyone in line with those meetings.
  • This person must be able to spend the time to understand business intent and drive things to conclusions. They should be able to build consensus and understand what motivates each group to find middle ground.
  • Comfortable presenting to executives and engaging with technical people
  • Needs to come from a technology company or software development background.
  • Familiar with Agile project philosophies and tools like Jira.
  • Need to be able to take full ownership of projects and move them forward.
