Business Analytics Solutions Developer ETW

As a Business Analytics Solutions Developer ETW, you will support initiatives that enable the Asian Pacific/Latin America (APLA) organization to increase Supply Chain productivity, maximizing the demand forecasting and inventory planning capabilities that drive long term margin expansion.
You'll design, develop, and successfully implement innovative business intelligence solutions to increase the accuracy of our demand forecast and effectiveness of our inventory execution. You'll leverage a deep understanding of Nike's information management and infrastructure landscape to actively support geography and global information initiatives while striving for continuous improvement across all our solutions.
Success in this role will require someone who is:                                      
  • Genuinely passionate about developing and delivering analytics solutions that provide insight and visibility into business results, especially using Tableau or other enterprise grade visualization software.
  • Skilled at cleansing and transforming data from disparate sources (housed in TeraData, SQL, Access, Excel, and unstructured formats).
  • Experienced at developing fully automated dashboards, solutions, and reports in a fast-paced operations environment.
  • Comfortable solving problems that start out ambiguous and abstract in nature.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas in simple terms to large audiences.
  • Dedicated to knowledge discovery, learning, and self-improvement. 
  • 2+ years professional experience building and deploying solutions and reporting with at least 3 of the following: Tableau, Alteryx, Excel VBA, Access, .NET (C#), Cognos, Java Script, Python, R.
  • Experience working in SQL, Cognos, and/or Teradata environments.
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies or programming languages.
  • Experience interacting with business customers for requirements gathering, solution testing, feedback collection, and training.
  • Experience applying above technical skills in a retail supply chain environment a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Finance.
  • Experience working in a large matrixed organization a plus.
  • Experience integrating advanced analytics (machine learning, predictive analytics, etc.) capabilities into solutions a plus.
