JOB SUMMARY:


This candidate will assist with contract research, data management, process incoming contracts, communicate with internal contacts regarding contract requests and work on a variety of special projects.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience with contracts
- Advanced Excel knowledge is required. *Please note this within the comments or resume.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Experience in a fast paced contract administrator role
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

Responsible for working as liaison between vendors and organization. Identify, select, and monitor vendors/suppliers and negotiate final contracts. May create systems and procedures to ensure overall quality of vendor services. Facilitate development of relationships with vendors/suppliers, maintain relationships for long-term contracts, and mediate performance and scorecard disputes.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Read lengthy and complex agreements and draft and edit contract summaries that contain the pertinent facts.
• Create and maintain a contract database which summaries critical information used by our legal advisors.
• Research issues and provide supporting information when necessary.
• Monitors the progress of consumer and commercial files. Advises officers of status on files and updates the internal tracking system of file status.
• May actively participate in meetings with external vendors or internal customers.
• Orders and reviews abstract and title work.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of supply chain or procurement functions and procedures
• Knowledge of vendor relations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization (e.g. executive, management, individual contributors)
• Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others
• Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures
• Proficiency to operate independently on work that is often confidential in nature
