You will lead a small internal team to create and implement innovative high quality Ecommerce solutions. You will also contribute in a variety of roles in business analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Work with cross functional teams to enhance, improve, develop and deploy web solutions on the E-Commerce Enterprise Platform
  • Assess, prioritize, and promote industry best practices in areas of Ecommerce, Mobile customer capabilities, and online campaigns and features
  • Manage strategic partnership with an E-Commerce Enterprise Platform and collaborate with various internal and external organizations to drive business results
  • Work with business leaders and users understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.
  • Fully understand application and how each business requirement benefits our customers
  • Continually update knowledge through self-learning through various sites, blogs, and training
  • Design, configure, test, document, and deploy high quality solutions
  • Analyze problems and provide application support
  • Perform application build and deployment activities
  • Identify, design, and implement improvements to site performance, stability and reliability
  • Create supporting documentation
  • Participate in scrum development activities alongside, product owners, QA and other teams
  • Support and/or implement integrations to our ERP and other 3rd party applications
  • Coordinate with various teams and users for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Develop and support practices and capabilities that will sustain the implementation for the long term
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
  • Engage with vendors and consultants to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience developing on the web based platforms
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing with an E-Commerce Enterprise Platform
  • Enterprise level experience with JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, APIs, HTTP, networking concepts.
  • Provide architectural assessments and tactics for implementations and integrations.
  • Deep understanding of underlying web technologies. (HTTP protocol, web servers, database servers, content delivery systems, web services, etc.)
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lead meetings and requirements gathering, prototyping, and configurations.
  • Experience configuring, designing, building, testing, deploying, supporting integrations between an E-Commerce Enterprise Platform and other systems
  • Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile development practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member or leader of cross functional teams.
  • Effective multi-tasking skills to address simultaneous priorities
  • Limited travel requirements
  • Retail experience a must
Preferred skills and education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Track record of success delivering solutions within defined timeframes
  • Experience working with distributed teams
