Within the Global Markets/ Equity Derivatives business line the SCOPE Trading team ﴾Secondary Client Offer & Post trade﴿ is in charge of the market making of the OTC equity products and Investment products ﴾Notes linked to Equity, Credit, Rates or FX﴿ sold by client. This Front Office team occupies a unique and strategic position, dealing with a large range of products and key clients. As a result, they work closely with the different teams within Global Markets and especially sales, structurers and traders.
For both Structured and Flow business:
  • Price OTC products and Market Linked Notes taking into account Greeks sensitivities, barrier smoothing ﴾delta max and epsilon methodologies﴿ and liquidity curve.
  • Monitor and explain collateral discrepancies.
  • Provide internal stakeholders with products, performance, and price explanations.
  • Optimize the margin and monitor margin improvement based on an argued performance opportunity under the sales person agreement.
  • Contribute actively to the day to day tasks on the desk ﴾pricing, generation of trade tickets, reporting﴿
  • Contribute trading prices for structured & Flow products on trading platform ﴾SMART Derivatives﴿.
  • Perform hedging management, including communication of request for hedge of any dealt product to the dedicated portfolio trader.
  • Value dedicated portfolio and clients.
  • Focus on Flow business
  • Flow product perimeter: it mostly concerns vanilla options, variance and volatility swaps, dispersion swaps, dividend swaps, and Equity swaps. Some products may be more complex ﴾Light Exotics﴿
  • Setting up new primary deals in our valuation management tool to support our Flow business with a specific focus with our Hedge Funds and Asset Managers businesses.
  • Train and assist Asset Manager sales desk with execution of ELN on SMART derivatives platform.
  • Valuing dedicated clients position and checking accuracy of prices on a daily basis
  • Acting as a liaison with other functions: Middle Office, Back Office, Clearing agent
  • Answer to client requests coming from our dedicated Client Service teams or Collateral Management teams
Product Push :
  • Proactively promote secondary trading electronic platform.
  • Push secondary market business by providing clients with inventory analysis and suggest rollover/restructuration opportunities.
Automation :
  • Propose procedure, soft development, and organization evolution to gain productivity.
  • Integrate new complex structures in the secondary trading framework. Work on improving existing process and tools
  • Collaborate with Structuring in automation topics
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign education equivalent in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or Management.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong quantitative and presentation skills
