Job Title: Site Core Developer
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Duration: Multiple positions both FTE and Contract 6+ months


As a Site Core developer, you will be responsible for developing innovative web/digital enterprise solutions for Client.

The candidate will need to identify the final tool set, work deliverables and development estimates to meet the requirements of both short and long term strategic projects. He/she will be responsible for partnering with other developers to build robust and scalable web applications using Sitecore XP and Sitecore Commerce. The candidate will develop code that meets BIC standards and fits our security, scalability and operational needs. The candidate will actively participate in an Agile development process in collaboration with QA, BA and PMO team members. The candidate will also identify and create development standards to be used across all Sitecore specific development activity.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a critical team member in strategic engagements as part of our digital center of excellence initiatives. Involved in all development aspects related to Sitecore.
  • Technical responsibility for development as per defined BIC standards
  • Support the definition of Sitecore specific development standards, determining best technology practices, build vs. buy decisions
  • Engage in emerging technology research & development MVC and Entity Framework migration
Job Requirements
  • Sitecore 8.x experience – 3 to 4 years
  • Experience in ASP.NET, C#, VB, HTML 5, CSS, JQUERY, MVC, Entity Framework. Proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, and relational data models in context of web integration
  • Experience with enterprise search platform
  • Good experience in Sitecore architecture creation, utilize deep understanding of Sitecore solutions to make appropriate decisions
  • Good experience in Sitecore API customization, Workflow and Migration
  • Understands the CMS concepts like page/data template, content types, workflows, content authoring and approval process
  • Strong digital web implementation project experience (Digital and eCommerce), and familiarity with other digital marketing technologies such as social media, search, web analytics, ecommerce, and behavioral targeting
  • Ability to interpret complex business requirements and encapsulate business logic/rules into reusable libraries.
  • Completed software and coding troubleshooting and resolved issues
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Possess good written and Oral communication
  • Good Team Player
Expertise with the following is all a plus:
  • SAP
  • InRiver
  • Sitecore auto deployment using tools like TDS, TFS, and Octopus etc.
  • Experience working on Off shore – Onsite model
  • Experience with migration from legacy web application stack to Sitecore
  • SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS Cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services
  • (AWS)/Azure
