Job Position:
The Network Administrator manages the client's Network and Server environment. Assists with planning, design, documentation, deployment and maintenance of all IT solutions at client. Escalated assistance for the day-to-day tasks of the client's help desk answering telephones,
creating and closing tickets and resolving problems for end users in a timely matter. Requires On-call rotation.

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field or Relevant experience

Preferred: Certification in A+, MC SE, MSC P, CCNE or other IT Based Certification Program

Required: Two years' experience in a professional IT environment
Preferred: Four years' experience in a professional IT environment

Core Requirements
  1. Meets all licensure and clinical competency requirements for position including continuing education
  2. Is current on all mandatory physical examinations and TB testing, as applicable
  3. Attends and participates in all required in-service training and mandatory meetings.
  4. Understands and complies with the client's Compliance program, including but not limited to the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Manual, all supporting policies for compliance, and compliance plans affecting specific duties and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities/Duties
  • The installation of new technology and affiliated software either enterprise-wide or on individual/departmental basis.
  • Daily support of implemented technology including, but not limited to Workstations, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Servers and wireless devices.
  • Upgrade/Update – Researching, scheduling and performing modifications to installed technology.
  • Providing training, as required, for customers and IT staff. This also includes the development of training materials as needed. This training may be to individual users or to groups of users, and may occur in a scheduled or just-in-time setting.
  • Work closely and exchange information with all IT analysts, especially when issues involve their areas of concentration.
  • Monitor, test, upgrade and maintain all assigned interfaces.
  • Recognize and identify hardware and network issues that impact the successful implementation/support/upgrade of applications.
  • Complete Help Desk support requests in a timely manner.
  • Keep the Network Manager informed on status of all projects and concerns as needed. This includes submitting reports of project status and workload, in Trello.
  • Provide support outside regular working hours as needed to support the department's customers.
  • Complete other assignments, as requested by the Network Manager, in a timely manner.
  • Project a professional, customer-friendly image and adhere to all regulatory and hospital standards.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
