Summary

Reporting to the Global Head of Financial Information Services (FIS), the Program Director for Enterprise Performance Solutions (EPS) collaborates and drives strategic initiatives to continuously improve and expand the global financial applications footprint. The Program Director is accountable for and directs program initiation, scoping, communications planning, program budgeting and approval, risk and issue management and escalation and other critical program activities. This role interfaces directly with Executive Business Stakeholders, Project Sponsors, and FIS team members in a concerted effort to deliver best in class implementation and support. The Program Director is responsible for Performance Management and Analytics applications at the client's level from strategy, to program execution, enhancement, maintenance & support.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the strategy, planning, management, development, implementation, deployment and support of finance critical applications and programs
  • Formulates, manages, and executes on program approach, end state vision and program road map and its alignment to business goals
  • Leads the facilitation and coordination of macro level topics within and across programs with Senior Management
  • Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including executive business stakeholders, on a timely basis
  • Formulates, manages, and executes Business Process concepts, objectives and detailed roles, responsibilities and expected outcomes
  • Fosters and builds relationships and is the single point of senior level escalation in the program
  • Accountable for foundational program components including resource plan, statements of work for 3rd party partners, application and program budgets, communications plan, change management process, project charter, and consolidated project plan
  • Accountable for the successful transition of projects to production/steady state, and on-going support
  • Champion and present project vision, and accomplishments in internal town halls, industry conferences, and other learning events
  • Sought after functional expert across firm that creates innovative solutions to areas of opportunity. Is a trusted advisor with key internal client leaders
  • Technology expert who is able to leverage technical based solutions across multiple projects.
  • Oversees the business requirements and design process for comprehensive solutions. Provides guidance to project teams for complex solutions
  • Evaluates and understands the impact and value in applying 3rd party vendor technological solutions
  • Interfaces and negotiates with 3rd party technology vendors for the acquisition of technology products
  • Management and development of Data Governance programs and Master Data Management across multiple domains
Program Team Management
  • Recruit, develop and train staff to increase individual and team productivity
  • Motivate staff, create a work environment that facilitates teamwork and open communication
  • Achieve established quality standards by communicating job expectations, providing direction on priorities and monitoring individual and team performance
  • Provide direction to and manage the execution of work performed by external vendors/consultants
  • Liaison with colleagues in FIS, client's Global IT, and other departments within client's outside of the core project team to accomplish project goals
  • Fulfill mentoring role for multiple talent\resources
  • Leads leadership and team development exercises
  • Drive innovation in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Experience working both with onshore and offshore development teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, masters preferred with a focus in one or more of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, Finance
  • 5+ years experience managing multi-million dollar budgets
  • 5+ years experience managing teams of colleagues and contractors (on and off shore) of 50 or more
  • 10+ years experience working in financials systems, audit, FP&A, or information technology
  • 5+ years experience in program management including management of project resources
  • Strong experience with working with Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Business, and IT clients to establish requirements for and design of Business Intelligence and Enterprise Performance solutions including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting & analytics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with prior experience working closely with executive leadership
  • Numerous Full Lifecycle implementations of large scale financial applications
  • Experience in managing multiple financial system related projects concurrently
  • Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Proven ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Experience developing and deploying custom end user systems
  • Ability to provide guidance on implementation best practices
  • Excellent analysis and problem solving skills and ability to think through problems creatively
  • Ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Must have proven leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Enterprise Performance Management platforms (e.g. Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle Hyperion Essbase)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms (OBIEE)
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials is a plus.
  • CPA, PMP, CISA, or similar certifications is a plus
