Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Production support to maintain Flex PLM and other applications in the domain.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solution/identify work arounds by debugging source code/log analysis etc.
  • Keep track of issues and requests and ensure timely closure and follow-up of Production tickets.
  • Work with the team members, from the beginning of the project lifecycle through to the application release.
  • Work with the cross functional teams to support system integrations and enhancements to the system.
  • Prepare test plan and perform system integration testing.
  • Execute and support the software build process and Production Release. Create Deployment plans with the detailed technical activities for the target Production Releases.
  • Maintain the technical landscape and ensure ongoing alignment with Security policies.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Java and Java web applications. Must be familiar with the SDLC.
  • Working knowledge of System design and data structures.
  • Strong database skills. Should have working knowledge of JDBC, SQL and database-stored procedures. Oracle/MS SQL experience preferred.
  • Experience in Java/JSP/Servlets/Java script
  • Experience with at least one Code Version Control Software.
  • Experience with the software build process. Working knowledge of writing build scripts using ANT.
  • Experience with deploying the build on Windows/Unix platforms. Experience with Apache/WebSphere/IIS.
  • Experience in PTC's FlexPLM package on version 10.1(or higher) is a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new process skills and applications on a need basis
