 The company started in 2007 and went after a market that had not been done in security and monitoring.  Because of their dedication to improving products and design, they see the value in technology being a part of their next step in security solutions. 
The current environment is antiquated and they are looking to move to a new 4G technology that is scalable for their business.  Some of the applications they are looking into are React, PHP, and Rails. The idea is to create a framework that will allow them to build out full API's and eventually move into the mobile technology.

  • Currently they are in .NET, you will be driving the efforts to migrate through this process
  • Ideally someone who has experience working with a start -up/wearing multiple hats
  • Currently working with React, PHP or Rails but has also worked with .NET or C# applications
  • Experience with full applications, and able to host, monitor and manage applications. 
  • Experience working with API's, doing opens source development, and building applications
Qualifications required: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in web/ windows programming languages (e.g.: .NET, . NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, etc.) to provide for dynamic, effective website deployment.
  • Experience with the development of websites, web services, Windows services and console applications, utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio 2015+.
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycles, version control systems (TFS), continuous integration, source code analysis tools, and automated testing solutions (MSTest, NUnit, etc.).
  • Experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server and stored procedures.
  • Working knowledge of user-centric design principles and techniques
  • Ability to transform static web designs from prototype and launch.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to establish internal relationships and continually expand sphere of influence.
  • Working knowledge of Dashboards/Admin Systems a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails/REACT a plus
Essential functions and responsibilities:
  • Develop assigned software projects as determined by the management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in and contribute to technology website strategy and planning initiatives.
  • Assist in the architecture, design and prototyping of application systems.
  • Develop assigned product maintenance releases in accordance with prioritize lists of enhancements and defects.
  • Work with and assist in the management of outsourcing and other technology vendors.
  • Assist in estimating work effort for projected development initiatives.
  • Provide SME technology support that addresses production incidents in a timely manner.
  • Perform quality control, testing and implementation.
  • Provide 3rd party application support.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure, multi-task and adjust daily routines.
  • Document requirements, identify gaps, estimate realistic deadlines, provide periodic updates
