SUMMARY: Responsible for staffing and scheduling of nurse staff, including background checks, license verification and testing for nurse facilities within territory assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interview and assess skill of nurses seeking placement through Aequor Healthcare Staffing Services. Visit medical facilities for liaison with staffing coordinator and Director of nursing.

Communicate with employers who need nurses to identify exact skills and experience levels the employer requires.

Recruit and identify Nursing, Therapy and Imaging candidates for client openings.

Follow up with employers to ensure needs are met by the nurse(s) placed at their location.

Inform nurses of job openings and detail of roles and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions and promotional opportunities.

Interview job nurses to match their qualifications with employer's needs, recording and evaluating, applicant experience, education training and skills.

Review employment applications and job orders to match nurses with job requirements, using manual or computerized file searches.

Select qualified nurses or refer them to employers, according to organization policy.

Perform reference and background checks on nurses.

Maintain accurate records of nurses not selected for employment.


Contact employers to solicit orders for job vacancies, determining their requirements and recording relevant data such as job descriptions.

Call on new and existing clients to generate job orders.

Quote bill rates and generate proposals to clients.

Conduct workshops and demonstrate the use of job listing to assist nurses with skill building.

Verify time sheets and payroll processing of nurses.

Bring all staffing and disciplinary problems to Team leader or Sales & marketing Manager.

Monitor and direct, coordinates and control the schedule of nursing services and rotating on-call duty.

Answer call and inquires about patient services associates with the healthcare faculties for the highest quality of life.

Search for and recruit nurses for open positions through campus job fairs and advertisement.

Any other task, written or verbal, that is assigned by Management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Experience in HealthCare Staffing or 4 Year College Degree. Knowledge of medical terminology and strong administrative and communication skills a plus.
