Detailed Job Description :
This role is an onsite position in Akron Ohio to support the current Operations Team as a Senior IT Systems Administrator.
This role requires strong WebSphere application server and network deployment skills at minimum 3 years.
Must Have WebSphere Experience. Candidates must be able and willing to be hired as an Client full time employee (FTE) within a few months of start of assignment.

The associate's day to day job duties will include:
1. Ensuring the applications/servers are performing at a steady state
2. Monitoring applications via Nagios monitoring tool
3. Proactively course correcting applications to avoid incidents affecting end users
4. Supporting new projects where new instances, hardware, software needs to be deployed
5. Providing technical support and guidance to the IT Team both in a troubleshooting situation and brainstorming ideas to improve service to internal customers
Must Have Key Skills:
1. WebSphere Application Server
2. Networking and Deployment on IBM HTTP servers
3. Linux Operating System
4. Strong scripting and automation skills
5. JAVA 6. SSL Certificates (ordering, creating, installing, renewing)
7. Apache Server experience – virtual hosting, load balancing, GZip compression, URL rewriting, reverse proxy with caching, MPMs threaded and preforked, custom logging Additional
Nice to Have Skills:
1. APP Dynamics – APP iQ Platform experience
2. Microsoft Windows Admin Experience
3. Project Management or Leading an IT Team of 6 or more people Complexity and Problem Solving
1. Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable)
2. Interpret guidelines and analyze factual information to adapt or modify processes in response to changing circumstances
3. Duties may require non-routine analysis, research and follow-through
