This role is typically engaged as the highest-level technology expert on a project team. Partners with business analysts, systems analysts and engineers in requirements gathering and reviews. Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives. Works with enterprise architecture, application and infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design for the project. Develops enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms. Proposes changes in process, policy and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems. Viewed as a technical expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 7 to 10 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 2 to 3 years of relevant architecture and project management experience. Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration.

Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated, high energy, passionate Solutions Architect or Solution Manager with strong Data Center Infrastructure (related space, power and HAVC, cabling), IT Technologies (VOIP and Wireless) and Network and Core Routing and Switching, Cisco Product portfolio, and Data Center domain knowledge and professional services experience who is ready to work in a start-up environment to help build new Solutions offers and take on cross architecture Custom engineering projects.

The Solution Architect or Manager is expected to work with Internal and external Project Managers and lead engineering engagements and provide technical/architecture leadership to the M&A/CBRE teams in scoping and translating customers' business needs into architecture/engineering requirements and scoping the development efforts and plans. Responsible for assisting in the integration of the solution into an existing infrastructure, which would drive systems integration and implementation approaches. Including the identification and integration of standard products and services into a cohesive solution design.
The role also requires close interactions with the M&A/CBRE teams, Internal/External Network Teams, Internal Server/Voice/Client Support Engineer Teams, Delivery team, local/remote support team and third party vendors. The individual is expected to mentor and develop other team members and provide architecture/technical guidance on the internal solution initiatives. The Solutions Architect/Solution Manager will work closely with M&A and CBRE team in scoping and developing IT solution proposals, and provide technical guidance and input into customer RFP and Statements of Work. Works across broad team of engineers and ensures a systems approach to the integrity of the customer solution which includes multiple technologies across the space.

-Design new Building Cabling Systems (BCS) or additions to existing BCS.
