Biostatistician with SAS Programming III

Manager not looking for a SAS programmer, but rather a statistician

Duties

To perform tasks under the guidance of project lead statistician on design and statistical analysis of Medical Affairs' studies. Develop Statistical Analysis Plans and perform other tasks associated with the study statistician role, including sample size calculations, leading statistical aspects for data review and surveillance, table mockups and analysis specifications, data analysis and reporting. Be able to advise on analytic strategies and recommend methodological solutions appropriate for late phase research.
Additional responsibilities may include data mining of existing clinical databases, to provide strategic and timely analytic support for abstract and manuscript development and submissions to medical/scientific congresses or publications, and to provide analytic support for internal and external communications and statistical interpretations of data under the guidance of departmental methodological principles.

Skills:

Strong statistical skills, applied to late phase research; Ability to program independently; Vendor management; Good communication skills.

Experience with observational methods a plus.

Education:

MS or PhD (preferred) in statistics, with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience
