MS-Systems Engineer III

Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organizations systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelors degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

The main skills we're looking for are:
#1: Familiarity with 32-bit Windows XP Professional (this is ramping down)
#2: Familiarity with 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise (this is where most of the work will be)
#3: Working with Bitlocker
#4: Working with Win 7 Offline Files and Folder Redirection
#5: Strong background in remote support (tools like Lync Shared Desktop, Offer Remote Assistance, Remote Desktop)
#6: Strong background in use of various Sysinternals tools (PSEXEC, ProcMon, Process Explorer)
#7: Familiarity with Win 7 PerfMon.

Some nice-to-haves, as this would help greatly with their most pressing probems:
#8: Knowedge in basic troubleshooting of web app issues with Microsoft FiddlerTool or similar HTTP Debugger.
#9: Some knowledge of network troubleshooting with Netmon/Wireshark. (At least basic setup and data gathering, but more would definitely be an asset.)
#10: Knowledge of other Root Cause or performance troubleshooting tools (Windows Performance Toolkit, or the commercial tool Lakeside Systrack)
