  • On-Site Lead F5 Engineer/Architect Required – F5 Certified Preferred
    • Cambridge, MA USA
    • Management of all F5 Systems
    • Vendor management and escalation
    • Reporting and metrics (Tickets, Availability, etc.)
    • Backup and health of systems
    • Admin User / Account management
    • 8x5 EST coverage – daily Operations
    • 7x24 EST emergency, project, and maintenance coverage
    • Day to Day Operations
    • F5 project Support and Implementation
    • F5 Hardware installations and Decommissioning
    • Campus Cabling
    • Monitoring of alarms and alerts using Solarwinds and Enterprise Manager
    • Provide the ability to write complex iRules
    • Monitor Request and Incident Ticketing Queues
    • Maintaining Client Cabling standards
    • Vendor management
    • Providing Escorted and Monitored access for Vendors and NIBR Associates
    • Engineering and building new solutions
    • Request, Manage, maintain, and Apply SSL Certificates
    • Troubleshoot F5 related issues and incidents
    • Manage and Implement F5 GTM and LTM requests
    • Ensure proper maintenance/support coverage is applied by Client
    • Implement F5 Best Practices
    • Maintain recommended F5 code versions and patching levels
    • Provide Architectural oversight for the F5 Platform and requests
    • Provide support during maintenance windows and weekend/afterhours cutovers
    • Maintain the F5 Enterprise Manager Server
    • Automate F5 requests when possible
    • DNS Administration for F5 load balanced applications (QIP/Infoblox)
    • Implement and Support new F5 products such but not limited to Access Policy Manager, Advanced Firewall Manager, Application Security Manager, and Web Safe
    • Support and install physical and virtual F5 systems
    • Hardware lifecycle and upgrades (upgrade to Viprion platform – Cambridge, Shanghai, Basel)
    • Build-out new F5 environment
