Client Engineering Technician Qualifications:
  • Understanding of how SCCM application packages affect end users
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service experience skills, and ability to work between departments to fulfil requests in a corporate environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage time and handle frequent interruptions
  • 4+ years' desktop support tier 2/tier 3 corporate environment (5,000+ nodes) experience
  • 1 + year of experience pushing customized applications, patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates within SCCM 2007 or newer versions.
  • 2+ year' experience with Microsoft Systems Management (SMS, SCCM)
  • 1 + year' Bitlocker administration/remediation
  • 1 + year' home drive moves and local administrator management
  • 1 + year' active directory users and computers - active directory OU mismatch, administration of AD group management, conformity, troubleshooting, and correction
  • 1 + year' SCCM configuration manager troubleshooting and SMS client agent health remediation
  • 1 + year' experience creating professional technical documentation and procedures
  • 1 + year' VPN Client administration
  • 1 + year' McAfee, Sophos, or other AV administration
  • 1 + year' USMT backup/restore

Bonus Qualifications:
  • SCCM VNext SF Testing/Troubleshooting
  • SOTI (Mobile Device Management)
  • 1 + year' GPO testing/troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of networks, DHCP, firewalls, routing, DNS, design, etc.
  • Building custom WinPEs using Microsoft tools or WinPE builders.
  • Scripting in one or more of the following – DOS Batch, Powershell, VB Script, WQL queries, SQL, HTA, HTML5, Ajax, Javascript, CSS, ASPX, C#, jQuery, bootstrap.
  • 1+ year Active Directory Sites and Services
  • 1+ year Microsoft IIS Management
  • Expert understanding of Group Policy within Active Directory

Responsibilities:
  • Remote client management, coordination, and applications/patches/updates deployment with SCCM
  • System Administrator or "Last reserve” (Desktop) member of the Knowledge Hub Team, creating the training documentation and providing support for the Desktop Support personnel.
  • SMS Client Agent Health Remediation
  • Bitlocker administration, Home Drive moves and local administrator management
  • Active Directory OU mismatch, conformity, troubleshooting, and correction
  • Secondary or Tertiary on the other Client Engineering Team members responsivities
