The Client Executive (CE) reports to both the Client CIO and SVP IT and is responsible for the operational leadership of Client's information technology (IT) department. This position will help the CIO develop and lead the execution of the short and long-term IT strategy that ensures both distributed, centralized clinical and business operations are more effective and cost beneficial. Additionally, the CE will be accountable for increasing the revenue and accountability while assuring that the visions and missions of both partner and the client are achieved. Assist the client with understanding the vision and apply it to solving client business issues.
-Manage the relationship between solution provider and the client for both IT and Revenue Cycle/HIM Management by meeting contract SLA's. Work closely with the client to review and modify SLA's on a regular basis.
-Develop and maintain a general understanding of the Client's primary operations, business environment, daily operational priorities and current information technology trends in healthcare.
-Participate with Client management in strategic and tactical planning, development, improvement, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems for the healthcare network.
-Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization.
-Manage multiple information and communications systems and projects, including applications, voice, and data, imaging, and office automation.
-Have fluent knowledge of healthcare business and clinical processes and their interrelationship.
-Work with Client leadership to identify improvements in the use of information technology to meet organization goals and improve performance and outcomes.
-Maintain open and frequent communication with management team in order to facilitate good communication between client and solutions provider.
-Provide a productive and motivating work environment within the organization including developmental programs to continuously improve, develop and motivate the global team.
Education: Undergraduate degree required; a Master's degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration highly preferred.
-15 plus years of health care experience in the health solutions industry (with increasing responsibilities).
-Healthcare and specifically Healthcare Information Technology services, business process solutions experience is highly desirable. CHCIO and/or CHIMSS certification highly preferred.
-Exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site client-server environment. Specifically experience with practice management, Cerner financial management and clinical management information systems a plus.
-Demonstrated ability to provide thoughtful and effective counsel on business issues to a management team.
-Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to attract, build, mentor and direct a high performing cohesive team.
-History of balancing thought leadership/best practices with strong results-orientation.
-Superior technical, analytical and project management skills.
-Successful implementation of innovative ideas and strategies.
-Experience with deployment, operation and optimization of enterprise EHR solutions.
-Knowledge of Cerner EHR and PeopleSoft ERP would be ideal.
