Description
Responsibility..This position involves daily laboratory testing of food products. The position requires significant attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Preferred skills based on previous laboratory experiences which would include: accurate weighing, pipetting and quantitative transfer of solutions and samples, ability to safely work with hazardous compounds, preparation of solutions; operation of lab equipment; and basic equipment troubleshooting. Operate and maintain a laboratory as part of a team Organize workload to maximize result output and meet deadlines Conduct analytical testing analysis Adhere to QA/QC and ISO requirements Maintain a work environment that complies with safety rules.
* Prior lab experience is definitely a plus

Must be able to lift 25 lbs comfortably. Positions may be either 1st or 2nd shift.

Education requirement: High School Diploma, Post Secondary Education a plus
Years of Experience: 2 years experience or previous experience in a lab environment preferred

Week 1&2 – M-F 8am-4pm for training. Rotation will be made to appropriate team and will follow the 3-2-2 schedule, 12h shifts from Noon to Midnight. Hours per Week: 36 hours one week and 44 the second week.
