Maintain control of capital expenditure projects and fixed/intangible assets for 3 Client Division. This includes:
Reviewing Capital Appropriation Requests and purchase order requisitions for new capital projects, on a daily basis;
Monitor closely open capital projects and prepare accurate reconciliations of G/L sub-ledger’s relating to open capital projects, on a monthly basis;
Coordinating all transactional activity for fixed/intangible assets that are purchased, transferred, or retired.
Depreciation analysis to verify useful lives, depreciation amounts, and trends.
Accounting for Capitalized Interest on qualifying fixed assets.
Indirectly supervise off-shore team in the performance of editing and processing procedures within 3 different SAP systems on a monthly basis.
Prepare accurate reconciliations of General Ledger accounts relating to fixed/intangible assets, depreciation/amortization expense and disposal gain/loss for Client business units on a monthly basis.
Prepare and input accurate FCRS reporting schedules of fixed and intangible assets for business units on a monthly basis and within published timelines.
Prepare accurate FCRS reporting schedule of leases for Client, on a quarterly basis and within published timelines.
Review and update NFCM (Control & Compliance) self-assessments and SOP’s for Client business units. Organize, monitor, and documents proof of control steps in an ERP system.
Plan, coordinate and document annual physical fixed asset confirmations for Client in accordance with policy. Obtain approvals and supporting documentation for any required fixed asset adjustments in a timely manner.
Daily/Monthly assist Financial Liaisons, BPAs, Auditors, Tax department in their inquiries.
Support Supervisor on special projects, as assigned.

3 or more years accounting experience and knowledge of IRFS as it relates to fixed assets. Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact with personnel at all levels. Ability to meet due dates as established; effectively solve problems; takes ownership for delivering results through personal initiative and commitment; and, actively looks for new ways of doing things. Proficient in Excel. Knowledge of SAP modules like Asset Management, Runbook, and Sharp a plus
