Job Description
The QA Analyst coordinates testing activity across multiple platforms and software versions. The role includes writing and executing test cases, cataloging and tracking defects, and responding directly to ad hoc testing needs as identified by clients. Requires working closely with the Business and Development teams to ensure timely and stable releases of the various supported platforms. This particular position shall focus primarily on testing of fulfillment applications using a Java technology stack, but experience testing on a Mule/Apache CXF technology stack is also desirable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate with Project Stakeholders to write testing scripts for new releases
2. Communicate testing strategies and plans with customers and coordinate testing efforts to ensure optimal results
3. Execute test plans in a timely and efficient manner
4. Exhibit ability to read business requirements and determine whether or not an application meets defined requirements
5. Report test results in a clear and concise manner
6. Research database to ensure testing integrity, escalate database issues to project management team
7. Follow testing processes and standards
8. Coordinate with Project Stakeholders to meet product deliverables and implementation schedules
9. Document all testing practices and outcomes
10. Report testing status to the appropriate manager
11. Escalate concerns, issues and risks to the appropriate stakeholders in order to meet project deadlines
12. Participate in user acceptance testing
13. Respond to scope changes from business stakeholders
14. Work with a diverse team of IT personnel
15. Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum 2-4 years QA testing experience
2. Bachelor's degree in CIS or MIS or equivalent experience
3. Knowledge of database technologies
4. Knowledge of QA tools including load testing
5. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
6. Experience in navigating across cross-functional teams
