Special Skills and/or Requirements:
The ETL Developer will provide development, Quality Assurance (QA), and technical support for migration of three enterprise legacy systems into a single standardized, multi-tenant platform. Due to the nature of information and the value of the end product to the business, it is absolutely critical that this system migration be performed without error and with minimal system downtime. The ETL Developer will play an important role in ensuring the quality of the final result. He/she will be responsible for testing/optimizing ETL processes to ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently. The ETL Developer will design and implement the load verification strategy, and as a deliverable of this work, he/she will produce metrics, reports, and source-to-target verification for point-to-point and end-to-end data flows. This individual will be a key player in roll-out planning and execution.

Responsibilities :

• Perform initial assessment of required artifacts for data migration and collaborate with the project teams to derive, plan, and validate the agreed baseline documentation.
• Review and provide input to physical data mapping design, migration load process, migration plan, and migration schedule.
• Develop with Oracle PL/SQL and/or C# to extend ETL functionality.
• Design and develop exception and error handling.
• Tune and optimize ETL jobs for performance and throughput.
• Document ETL processes, programs and solutions as per established standards.

• Implement automated load validation processes where possible and practical.
• Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting and debugging.
• Build logical and analytical testing strategy to validate migration outcome and demonstrate results to multiple stakeholders.
• Create, implement, execute, and document test plans for ETL and data integration processes and programs.
• Design and develop data verifications and validation processes.
