Desktop Support Technician

The Deskside Support Technician, within the Investments department is responsible for the day-to-day desktop support of end users. This position will provide desktop support for all users experiencing problems with desktop/laptop hardware, software, mobile devices and other related technology issues and/or inquires. Daily tasks include resolving basic hardware and software problems, conducting hardware and software installs and working on special projects.  This resource will report directly to a senior technician who he/she will have 24 hour access to at all times to provide guidance and assistance when needed.
 
Knowledge & Experience (MUST HAVE):
  • Experience with Deskside support and project support including hardware / software
  • Wide range of working knowledge to troubleshoot hardware / software
  • Excellent customer service skills including ability to provide information at all levels
  • Knowledge of financial applications a plus (Bloomberg, MarketAxcess, TradeWeb, etc)
  • Executive support coverage
  • Experience in trading support
  • Experience in Windows 7/10 support
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 support
  • Knowledge of mobile devices
