  • Lead the IT and/or the LOB project team in the development and implementation of new IT systems or change to existing systems, and building systems for personal lines.
  • Develop & maintain project documentation, including charters, WBS, risk logs, stakeholder registers, schedules, measures of success, project plans, weekly status reports, issue tracking/escalation/resolution, and financial tracking/forecasting.
  • Organize and facilitate requirements sessions.
  • Participate in SOW reviews and cost tracking
  • Manage and maintain relationships with multiple services and software providers.
  • Liaise with technology and business organizations to ensure engagement and project progress.
  • Facilitate team meetings and work sessions.
  • Communicate regularly in accordance with agreed upon communications plan.
  • Prepare formal presentations on project deliverables and status for business and technology leadership.
  • Where necessary, participate in creation of functional and technical requirements/specifications.
  • Ability to travel.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements
  • Experience leading cross functional projects in accordance with a formalized project methodology required.
  • Financial Services background required; preference for experience in banking and loan application implementations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic development environment; demonstrated project delivery required.
  • Strong ability to identify, understand and communicate business needs for technical projects.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to influence change and drive results.
  • Experience in understanding and communicating technical/business concepts to a non-skilled audience.
  • Excellent written/verbal skills; ability to effectively communicate across all levels is required.
  • Ability to interact well with senior management; strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to escalate issues to senior management
  • Ability to identify and manage the Project's critical path
