Posting Summary:
Information Risk Management takes a business-focused view of information management risks, in all forms including electronic, paper or archive. It aims to integrate people, processes and technology through use of risk management principles to safeguard the integrity, availability and confidentiality of this information in accordance with the Bank's operating model and risk appetite. This is achieved either directly or through partnerships with colleagues in related disciplines.
Overall purpose of this role:
  • The job holder will assist the head of the Strategy and Governance team with identification of IRM automation opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of several processes including risk reporting and control assessments as well as design of a sharepoint site for department and business stakeholder information sharing.
  • Provide subject matter advice, guidance and training for establishment of a sharepoint solution.
  • Where needed, develop business requirements to support engagement of the Global Sharepoint support team.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
  • Business analysis for identification of automation opportunities and drafting of requirements
  • Solution design and implementation including access controls to restrict access, where applicable.
  • Staff training in support of ongoing maintenance capability
  • Engagement with Global Sharepoint support function for guidance on configuration standards and capabilities

  • Proven experience in the definition, design, documentation and implementing of operational process including proficient use of process mapping tools e.g. Visio
  • Data analysis skills desirable
  • International experience and/or experience of working successfully in different cultures in a sensitive manner in order to create strong relationships with senior leadership
  • Adept use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point, MS-Access or another relational database
