Our client, a leading fortune company is looking for Technical Project Analyst for a 24 months contract position and is located in Thousand Oaks, CA.
Top Skill Sets:
  • Knowledge of Bio-Pharma operations from drug product development to commercialization and manufacturing support.
  • Vigorous attention to detail with demonstrated strategic thinking and planning skills required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, written and verbal communication, with ability to clearly and professionally communicate with employees and leadership at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook). Excel experience should include knowledge of: pivot tables, formulas, scenario analysis and spreadsheet modelling.
  • Microsoft Project Server skills using Resource Pool or other suitable enterprise project management tools with a resource component (Workforce, SAP PPM, etc.)
  • Support technical planning activities with planning, reporting and analysis, including options analysis for technical scenario planning.
  • Work closely with staff to drive complex project timeline assignments by publishing key deliverable schedules bi weekly.
  • Communicate regularly to leaders through standard template forms.
  • Help set standard work units, analyse trends, and improve estimates
  • Assist in the technical process of securing outside vendors as needed
  • Provide key staff training and support on the tool sets
  • Develop recommendations on ways to improve results, based on data and facts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in order to make sound real time decisions based on that analysis required
  • Experience of 2 or more years in a Project Management Office highly desirable
  • A good sense of judgment, strong confidence and a high degree of confidentiality required
  • Desire to embrace and initiate continuous improvement
  • Ability to lead without having formal authority
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Teamwork mentality

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports the Program Manager by providing key project support to address issues as part of a team of engineers and management professionals;
  • Develops internal and external reports and requisite support to address key issues/scenarios
  • Develops tools to meet this role that are simple and easily deployed
  • Supports work-flow processes and schedules to accomplish assigned projects, plans, and activities associated with approved current and projected projects and functions;
  • Knowledge of drug product and device processes desirable
  • Interfaces with engineers and leadership and provides regular reports of progress;
  • Ensures all data for assigned projects is entered promptly in project monitoring systems and ensures this data is always up to date and accurate;
  • Other duties as assigned.
