HR Generalist II

Our client, a leading Biomedical Laboratory Instruments company is looking for an HR Generalist II. This is for an initial duration of 6 months and is located in San Jose, CA
 
Description/Comment:  
  • MUST HAVE MEDICAL LEAVE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE / WORKDAY SYSTEM EXP IS PLUS.
****3 Month assignment with possible extension****
 Additional Job Details:
 MUST HAVES:
  • Experience of 3 –5 years in HR generalist role or HR (SHRM) Certification/Schooling with some HR representative work experience. (HR Experience would include but not limited to the below items)
  • Worker Compensation Reports (ATTENTION TO DETAIL MUST BE HIGH)
  • Direct leave (LOA) management experience (all types of medical leaves)
  • HRMS Data Entry experience (workday experience is considered a huge plus)
  • Intermediate Excel Skills – Pivot tables, V-look ups, formulas (MUST HAVE) SOFT SKILLS
  • Ability to build relationships and influence people in a matrix environment (POLISHED AND PROFESSIONAL DEMEANER )
  • Ability to create and enforce process discipline and a positive work culture (FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE)
  • The individual should be detail oriented, self-confident and possess the ability to work independently (MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI-TASKS / TIME MANAGEMENT)
 
Skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation; resourceful and proactive in addressing concerns, opportunities, and proactively solving problems.
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask on projects requiring differing skillsets, while maintaining high standards of work on a tight schedule in a fast-paced environment with contending priorities
  • Solid attention to detail, accuracy, superior time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional collaboration with local team as well as broader HR organization.
  • Inclusive communication skills
  • Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities in daily work
  • Confidence and understands how to interpret data/metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver to timelines, keep projects on time.
  • Workday HRMS experience a plus
  • Project management expertise and a familiarity working in a global corporation with multiple lines of business and a multi-generational workforce
  • Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (in Human Resources, Business or related field) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years Human Resources Generalist experience, with working knowledge of HR systems, full cycle recruiting, project/program deployment, employee relations, training delivery.
