Position Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)
  • Providing support to the Sr. Analyst and LM Team for land payment transactions for all assets in development, construction, and commercial operations.
  • Learning and efficiently operating within a complex real estate and financial system and interface with various operating units across the US and Spain.
  • Evaluating rental provisions including flat and complex rents across all phases, reimbursements (crop damage, legal fees, taxes), installation fees, met tower fees, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining Excel workbooks for lease milestone payment tracking at the various stages of project advancement
  • Fulfilling data requests for commercial real estate transactions
  • PO support for LM department
  • Circulating payment batches and other documents for signature
  • Supporting efforts with landowner payment cycles and statements (rent, royalty, CPI)
  • Researching historical transactions, uncashed checks for escheatment, Ad hoc payment research, 1099 reporting
  • Managing due dates and milestones
  • Adhering to internal controls and processes
  • Gathering turbine production reports and asset gross revenues for use in calculations
  • Supporting data conversion efforts from PRISM to SAP-RE
  • Scheduling land payments in new system
  • Pulling landowner payment stats as needed
  • Assisting landowners with questions about land payments, 1099s, direct deposit, W-9
  • Working harmoniously with multiple business units to make effective progress
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with contract management - reading and understanding contracts.
  • Real estate or Legal experience in this area would be a plus.
  • Must be able to understand numbers and do calculations, will be making payments based on contracts.
  • This is not an Accounting position.
At least an Associate's Degree is required
  • Wind or Renewable experience is plus
  • Experience in one of or a combination of the following areas: private or commercial property management, accounting, and contract management.
  • This position will be required to learn and efficiently operate within a complex real estate and financial system and interface with various operating units across the US and Spain.
  • Familiarity with real estate contracts and complex payment terms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) applications (experience with SAP a plus)
  • The ability to learn systems quickly and follow Department al processes
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to amicably deal with conflict in a fast paced business-to-business environment
