Clinical Studies Scientist

Our client, a leading Biomedical Laboratory Instruments company is looking for a Clinical Studies Scientist. This is for an initial duration of 12 months and is located in Miami, FL
Essential Behaviors and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Designs, organizes and monitors internal and external clinical studies for new and improved products including writing clinical protocols, designing case report forms, identifying and contacting potential investigators, selecting sites, negotiating financial payments, monitoring clinical studies, analyzing clinical data and writing summary reports.
  • Acquires technical information for customer support regarding product performance, competitive features and clinical requirements.
  • Prepares technical articles for publication in professional journals and company literature. - Analyzes and evaluates clinical data.
  • May participate in developing the clinical strategy in support of regulatory submissions and assists Research and Development in the management of the product's development. Qualifications and Experience
  • Possesses relevant college degree and clinical research experience (BS/BA and 2 years of relevant experience, or relevant MS/MA and 0-2 years of relevant experience).
  • Stays current on changes, innovations, and trends in focus areas by networking and studying industry publications and presentations.
  • Systematically gathers relevant information, considers a broad range of issues or factors. Grasps complexities and recognizes relationships among problems or issues.
  • Remains flexible and takes the risks necessary to achieve the functional or technical objective.
  • Works effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Has broad conceptual framework and experience to achieve objectives.
  • Is familiar with and adheres to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards as applied to Clinical Trial Management.
  • Has familiarity with in-vitro diagnostic immuno- and molecular assays (a plus).    
  • Hours:  8:00am to 5:00pm
