Job Description
  • Purpose:* Provides hardware, software, and network support relative to customer IT environment
Primary Responsibilities:*
  • Level 2 Desktop Tech will be responsible for physical migration of the RBC end user devices (desktop/laptop/thin client) during Phase 1 of the program, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Tech will work under self-direction to deliver second level technical support to all problems assigned to the department including network connectivity, operating systems, application and hardware integrity.
  • Tech will proactively seek opportunities for improvements in terms of technology and training of other support staff, and present formal recommendations to management.
  • Tech will act as the primary IT interface to all lines of business for all computing issues.
  • Tech will call in resources from other IT departments including networks, server, messaging, telecom, and application developers as required.
  • Tech is responsible for delivering quick repair to hardware and software problems and possibly swapping spare equipment.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience supporting Windows 10 in an enterprise environment.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience supporting desktop hardware and peripherals in an enterprise environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interface and documentation.
  • Organizational and time-management skills with ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
