Communications Manager IV

Our client, a leading medical technology company is looking for Communications Manager for a contract position of initial duration of 6 months. This part-time contract position - 25-30hours a week
  • The role effectively directs the integrated design and execution of brand commercial programs for assigned business. This incumbent is on point for delivering a program design and execution that addresses the program objective, is executed on time, and on budget.
  • Facilitates the integrated process among external agency partners, including PR firm and creative partners and our internal digital and creative teams.
  • Ensures that brand teams' briefings, direction, and brand plans are deployed and successfully executed.
  • Drives open communication and translation of ideas between product managers and executional partners.
  • Shares all programs with global partners and facilitates design customization required by region.
  • Facilitates recapping of commercial programs including program analytics, key learnings applicable to future programs, driving best practices and integrated excellence.
  • Details program components, budgets, and volume implications.
  • Works with Marketo/Demand Generation Manager in developing "what if” models to predict forecasted volume and program ROI.
  • Leads internal and external team to recommend program and budget adjustments during changes in budgets at the direction of Marketing.
  • Leads content marketing for assigned business
  • Responsible for content strategy, including website, demand generation, and tradeshows.
  • Responsible for managing PR support aligned with key objectives and message strategy. This includes webinars, byline articles and advocacy.
  • Knowledge of Challenger/insight messaging desired.
  • Directs program execution.
  • Communicates and monitors budgets and material needs for all components of commercial programs to internal and external resources.
  • Provides plan milestones for timeline and resource management 
  • Initiates confidentiality agreements, contracts, purchase requisitions, and other legal requirements.
  • Serves as first point of contact for internal and external teams regarding status/pipeline of executional deliverables.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with all internal teams, including brand, digital, creative, and agency partners through trust, integrity, and effective communication.
  • Serves as a resource to brand teams on the integration of creative executions.
  • Serves as a resource to partners to help improve process, allocate and prioritize resources, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Contributes to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.

  • The incumbent would typically have an undergraduate degree.
  • Demonstrated skills in the area of organization, project management, collaboration, written and oral communication, creative management and execution, initiative and time management.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are a requirement.
  • The incumbent must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Broad-based knowledge in business management and marketing is a requirement.
  • The incumbent would be a key contributor in adding message suggestions that help build and plus out ideas.
  • Healthcare experience/medical device experience is desirable.
