Summary
  • This position is responsible to manage the full life cycle of client Salesforce implementation including requirements elicitation, creating and managing cross functional project plans and partnering with multiple business, technology and 3rd party teams to deliver on the project objectives.
  • This role will also be responsible for risk management and tracking issues to closure.
  • Post launch, this role will assume responsibility for the daily administration and support of our Salesforce database, managing user setup, activating/deactivating user profiles, as well as creating custom objects.
  • This role will work directly with business stakeholders will support, troubleshoot, and improve our existing processes and integrations as well as help with implementation and testing of new processes as needed. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large and complex implementation projects with high performance risk, driving project(s) to completion
  • Execute all activities in the project management lifecycle; initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, communicating, controlling, and closing.
  • Independently direct projects requiring high levels of functional integration and involving multiple disciplines to be managed.
  • Develop and help execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders; orchestrate and lead change management methodologies underlying project success.
  • Maintains relationship with business to assess demand and capacity, and to ensure effective delivery of small and large initiatives.
  • Manages service delivery working with internal resources and partners for support, maintenance, and enhancements to ensure high service level standards
  • Maintains relationships with security team to align to security standards. Ensure that CRM systems are secured, and that critical data is always protected.
  • Design and implement updates to the Salesforce.com solutions using best practices through standard configuration
  • Document and maintain processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as database applications are developed.
  • Ensure data integrity throughout Salesforce cloud solution as well as between Salesforce and internal systems.
  • Keep up-to-date on new Salesforce products, features and functionality through certifications, training modules, and industry user groups
  • Participate in best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc.

  • Seasoned, experienced senior level professional; in-depth knowledge and full understanding of multiple disciplines and good knowledge of other related disciplines.

  • May take on project lead role on medium-sized projects. Barriers to entry may exist at this level.

Supervision
  • Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • May act as a resource to formally train and mentor TSMs with less experience.
  • Assignments are broad and moderately complex in nature.
  • May manage vendor relationships. 
Work Experience 
  • Typically, 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience. 
Preferred education
  • Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.

Specific knowledge & skills
  • Degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years Salesforce experience
  • Nice to have certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Experience in a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and integrations with Salesforce
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk
  • Demonstrated ability to build custom applications, objects, formula fields, workflows, and custom views.
  • Ability to support Salesforce analytics including reporting and dashboards.
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet milestones
  • Exceptional ability to understand and navigate organizational climate and make efficient use of communication channels appropriate to the Client culture
