Job Description:
  • Plans and schedules simple (fewer capacity constraints, fewer work centers, fewer process, lower change over complexity) manufacturing processes of all current production and service parts.
  • Schedules requirements for material with regard to the Client Production System including kanbans/triggers, delivery and achievement of the production schedule. May develop line sequencing of options.
  • May provide work direction.
  • Schedules production parts. Schedules service parts.
  • Expedites production and purchased parts.
  • Coordinates needed parts from other Client departments.
  • Coordinates and communicates the implementation of engineering and material changes.
  • Assists the production department in manpower planning.
  • Performs general administrative duties as needed to meet administrative support needs.
  • Assists in coordinating the department's inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting.
 Specific Position Requirements          
  • In this role, individual would be responsible for creating, tracking inspection schedules in coordination with Harvester/Silvis team and 3rd part services.
 Skills and requirements include:
  • Strong project planning and scheduling experience
  • Creates inspection requests in the system
  • Facilitates discussions with stake holders including DE/QE/ME and measurement services to establish and track the schedule for inspection work
  • Travel onsite to local QC area tooling vendors to keep track of progress on regular basis
  • Blue print reading skills
  • Microsoft office expertise
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience working in fast paced production environment
  • Track and report out the progress and gaps on regular basis
  • Quality/Mfg. background
  • Role will also support initial sample inspection reports reviews on regular basis outside coordination and scheduling work
  • Position will be first shift, it's a newly established role, scheduling inspections, keeping people on track and coordinating.
  • Need someone who has energy and not afraid to talk, trainable.
  • It's a more technical position, so a little technical knowledge/background would be very beneficial, someone coming from an office environment would probably not work.
