Position Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)
  • We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable candidate who will work with our translational development teams by designing and executing experiments to gain insight into the activity of cancer drugs and enable efficient, data-driven clinical development.
  • The successful candidate must have solid technical expertise, enthusiasm for working with cross-functional project teams to support preclinical and clinical programs, and a strong desire to contribute to the development of new anticancer drugs.
  • Focus On Technical Skills & Scientific Capabilities  
Technical Skills
  • Expertise in cell culture of mammalian cell lines, and isolation and culture of human or mouse tissue derived primary cells
  • Cell-based assays for cell phenotype analysis, growth/viability and signal transduction on cancer cells or immune cells
  • Core cell biology skills including flow cytometry, Western blot, ELISA and qPCR 
Scientific Capabilities
  • Able to independently design experiments to address a scientific question
  • Able to critically analyse and interpret data
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and implement creative solutions
  • First-rate skills in spotting artifacts and troubleshooting assays
  • Ability to critically assess project strategies and formulate idea
  • Solid understanding of scientific mechanisms and experimental techniques, with knowledge of cancer cell biology strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in haematological malignancy is a plus

Requirements & Education
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in the Life Sciences with at least 6 years’ relevant experience or Master’s degree with at least 3 years' experience in a research environment preferably in an industry setting.
  • Must be willing to work with a highly motivated team, pursuing goals aggressively.
  • The candidate will be technically superb, independent, detail oriented, well organized, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
