Job Description:
  • Primarily handles tactical aspects of Human Resources processes but also provides some higher level support.
  • This is a specialized administrative role in the Human Resources functional area performing other duties such as Performance Management Advisor, non-exempt interviewing, conducting basic training programs or coordinating employee relations events.
  • Performs a variety of tactical tasks to support Human Resources such as maintaining employee records, tracking and extracting data, scheduling and other such activities. Performs one of more of the following duties such as Performance Management Advisor, non-exempt interviewing, conducts new employee orientation or other basic training, functioning as Human Resource Vision Coordinator or coordinating employee relations events.
  • Assists in routine staffing activities such as screening resumes, phone screens, scheduling of various phases of hiring process including testing and interviews, tracking relevant data, and other such staffing activities.
  • Coordinates scheduling of training classes, invitations to attendees, tracking and reporting of training hours and required courses, and other such training related activities.
  • Assists employees with daily issues such as answering general questions and helping with forms and processes.
  • Maintains confidential data and is able to distinguish when and to whom it can be released.
  • Prepares management reports.
  • Utilizes Human Resource tools such as SAP and Business Objects to view and extract data used to respond to requests for information.

Specific Position Requirements          
As an HR Benefits Representative you will be a member of the Client Direct benefits Call Center team. You will:
  • Handle employee/retiree telephone and email inquiries regarding benefit eligibility and coverage/transaction information.
  • Manage a case load by researching, resolving/following up with the customer and working the case to resolution.
  • Use multiple computer software applications to locate information for consistent response to inquiries.
  • Process employee human resource transactions (such as benefits enrollment, dependent changes, address changes, retirements, etc.).
  • Initiate correspondence to employees and retirees in response to inquiries.
  • Document inquiries in a call tracking system to identify common problems and to provide history for follow-up and reference by other team members and/or service teams.
  • Work with team members to resolve difficult inquiries.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications , Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in SAP-HR, HR information systems
