Job purpose
  • The Associate Marketing Manager for the Audio, Visual, Home Monitoring, & Cordless Phones segments is a point of contact within the Consumer Marketing Group, and is responsible for providing marketing support and guidance to both the Sales and Merchandising Groups.
  • To support communications with company resources and outside entities interacting with the Marketing Group.
  • To research marketing data insights and develop guidance in support of the business groups objectives.
  • Provide support, and insight for all digital marketing, CRM, Amazon Search and Ad Platform, and social media advertising associated with the business segments supported.
  • Support and activate the communications strategy for social media, brand or product influencer or content creator campaigns.
  • Drive project management for the development and production of retail and online display and marketing materials.  
Duties and responsibilities
  • The Associate Marketing Manager for the Audio, Visual, Home Monitoring, & Cordless Phones segments is a key point of contact for the Sales and Merchandising Groups. Primary job duties and responsibilities include; encourage open communications with supported groups through continuous synchronizing of marketing activities with Sales and Merchandising activities, coordination of marketing activations including all necessary support resources needed, catalog, track and support company the activation of third party assets used by content creators or other entities
  • support development and production of display and marketing materials, actively research with available data metrics any potential activations needed to achieve Sales and Merchandising goals, provide oversight of Social and Web metrics impacting marketing activations in support of sales, produce monthly reports on all activities showing key metrics.
  • Exercise good project management skills to keep projects on track and immediately identify delay causing issues to Management.
  • Support and insight for all digital marketing, CRM, Amazon Search and Ad Platform, and social media advertising associated with the business segments supported
  • Use good communications skills – Timely response to emails giving anticipated time needed to provide a solution to any requests. Use texts when needed to draw attention to matters requiring urgent attention.
  • Document and report on weekly synchronization meetings with Sales and Merchandising to ensure expectations and timelines are agreed upon.
  • Support the development and production of displays and other marketing content keeping within assigned budget guidelines.
  • Support the communications strategy for social media, brand or product influencer or content creator campaigns. Actively pursue social media posts any procure content needed in support marketing initiatives.
  • Request use of resources in a timely manner to internal and external entities.
  • Keep inventory of all hardware provided under Client MTO and or any 3rd part loaners.
  • Research and use convincing metrics or proven examples when providing activations suggestions or other recommendations to Sales or Merchandising.
  • Support the production of monthly reports ahead of PSI meetings to reporting manager. Provide past month's metrics, pending month's status and future month roadmaps.
  • Suggest to any improvements to company web site to the reporting manager, and produce necessary creative needed for ecommerce needs.
  • Actively drive any promotional awareness and identify spending needed for visibility.
  • Keep manager apprised of projected travel itinerary needed to support the business group.  
Qualifications
  • Position requires an educational background in project management, consumer marketing with an emphasis on digital and social marketing, business, or communications.
  • Must possess intellectual and social skills to build and link relationships across content creators, large scale retail operators, production vendors, and pull company resources together to accomplish goals.   
Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Associate of Arts (AA)
  • Specialized knowledge – Project Management, Retail Operations, Social Media Resource Management and Terminology Understanding, Resource Procurement Processes. 
Skills
  • Microsoft Office, Social Media Management, Facebook Business Manager, General Budget Management.  
Abilities
  • Able to delegate with strong follow-up, work independently while keeping projects on track, professionally present projects and ideas in group environments. 
Personal characteristics
  • Single minded focus on timelines, socially comfortable, ability to respond confidently under pressure.   
Working conditions
  • Working conditions cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, and working with challenging clients. 
    Physical requirements
  • While primarily a traditional office environment, with no special physical requirements.  Limited potential for travel.
