Job Description:
  • Implements inventory audits and other related inventory transactions to measure accuracy. Compiles inventory audit requirements with Client and other companies.
  • Works out reports of inventory. Supervises/Work Directs salary and/or wage personnel (Cycle Counters lower level Inventory Analyst).
  • Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and/or materials processes to insure they are functional designed e.g. Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Process cycle counting process or disposition of excess material.
  • Works to resolve inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy.
  • Coordinates and analyzes daily monthly and/or annual inventory audits e.g. engine audits or audits to test the financial accuracy.
  • Prepares and reviews various perpetual inventory reports.
  • Provides work direction and/or coaching as necessary to less experienced personnel; ensures completion of administrative support to the Human Resources processes.
Specific Position Requirements

  • Ensures that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product.
  • Oversees and ensures that the inventory is correct and on time and identifies problems and makes suggestions involving production schedules. Ensures material logistics follow Client Production Systems principles.
  • Coordinates the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within a smaller group of the factory. Typically an initial position in the organization.
  • Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, the movement of rejected material to source.
  • Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management. Finds root cause of material shortages.
  • May provide recommendations for solutions. May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
  • Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance.
  • Counts and resolves inventory errors and provides direction to cycle counters.
  • Responsible for ensuring daily counts are completed as well as any request counts from Supply Management.
