Position Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)
  • Respond to retiree inquires for assistance and questions about Health & Welfare options at retirement and ongoing.
  • Daily collaborating and communicating with the organizations two outsourcing agencies to respond to active and retiree inquiries.
  • Handle all benefit inquiries and working closely with vendors on the day to day administration of our active retirement benefit programs.
  • Provide assistance during Annual Enrollment assuring implementation of any changes to active and retirement benefit programs.
  • Participate in weekly vendor calls.
  • Complete all Social Security and Medicare forms related to retirement.
  • Complete all WC Wage & Health forms for active employees.
  • Research and provide necessary data for death claim processing to vendors
  • Perform other duties as required to support the day- to- day activities and initiatives of the Benefits department.

  • Associate's degree in Business or related degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with retiree medical plans.

  • Flexibility and ability to reprioritize deliverables as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems.
  • Advanced MS Office Excel skills.
  • Neocase, SAP and Retiree Exchange experience a plus.
  • Required Knowledge of:
  • Principles, practices and techniques of employee benefit analysis and administration; federal, state, and local laws; regulations applicable to the administration of employee benefit programs and practices; research methods and data analysis techniques.
