Our client, a leading fortune company is looking for Procurement Analyst . This is for an initial duration of 8 months located in Neenah, WI.

Description:
  • This position provides a full range support to the Procurement Team including sourcing support for Built to Draw Parts, analytics, customer service, training, process and system improvements, and other activities supporting client Capital Expenditure Plan.
Customers and Customer Expectations:
  • Key Customers consists of a broad base including: Client Planning and Engineering, Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Central Engineering staff, or others involved in the implementation of business strategies where sourcing plays a role. This role functions independently with some supervision, has contact with many functions, roles and levels across the organization.
  • This role directly supports the Built to Draw (BTD) Commodity Manager. Provides assistance and insight on category data, assists with RFPs, data collection and analysis. This role supports supplier selection efforts, development, and overall supplier management processes including assisting the commodity managers to support the entire contract life cycle from request for proposal (RFP) to supplier exit.
Scope:
  • Logistical support including BTD category management support, analytics, reporting, customer service, process and system improvements, and other activities
  • Comfortable engaging with current and prospective new suppliers as part of the BTD sourcing process
  • Understand customer needs and provides excellent service to all stakeholders.
  • Uses available resources to resolve customer questions and needs professionally.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of applicable client policies, procedures, related governmental laws and regulations and implement continuous improvements to same.
  • Communicate ideas/concepts and potential issues and risks in an assertive manner.
Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related discipline OR equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Two to Four years of experience in the area of Procurement or Engineering is highly recommended.
  • Excellent skills in organizing, controlling, thoroughness, analysis/troubleshooting, initiative, decision-making, flexibility, personal and organization sensitivity, oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the area of SAP processes preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel (macros, formulas, pivot tables) and SAP Business Intelligences/Warehouse reporting tools and/or other reporting technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including SharePoint) and SAP working knowledge.
  • Motivated individual who is detail oriented and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to exercise independent problem solving and decision making with a high degree of initiative and self-coordination.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the organization and its business policies and procedures.
