Purpose
  • Uses tools in Client's Network Operations Center (NOC) to provide customers with network-monitoring, database, and hardware break/fix support.  
Primary Responsibilities
  • Monitor network hardware and associated devices and alert customers of failure.
  • Manage trouble tickets from inception to closing, includes tracking resolution progress and updating customers on ticket status.
  • Troubleshoot server break-fix and network issues; escalate to higher support level for resolution when necessary.
  • Order hardware replacement parts as necessary. Configure customer address translations (nats) as needed.
Qualifications:
  • H. S. diploma. A. S. in computer engineering or equivalent training.
  • Network + certification or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years work experience in a support environment that includes network monitoring, database management, and hardware break/fix.
